  • Meet at Idaho Shakespeare Festival, 5657 Warm Springs Avenue

Registration

Join us for a beautiful, educational evening walk along the Boise River to the edge of the Barber Pool Conservation Area with our guide Rob Tiedemann, PhD Ecologist.  Just down the road from Dallas Harris Estates, the Barber Pool Conservation Area has been nominated as one of the top 12 ecosystems in the state of Idaho. Don't miss this opportunity to explore this extraordinary wildlife habitat.

Originally this serving as a holding pond for logs for the Barber Lumber Company, the Barber Pool Conservation Area is now a Boise Heritage Site held in perpetuity by Idaho Foundation for Parks and Lands.  It set a precedent for the continuing enhancement of wildlife areas and quality of life for our great state. The Foundation likes to call this property "The Anchor" for wildlife and humanity at the top of our great metropolitan area!

RSVP:  Please let us know the number of people in your party and the ages of any children - email us at debbie@harrisranch4wildlife.org  or call 515-7413

Location:  We will meet at the entrance to the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, 5657 Warm Springs Avenue.
