Idaho Fescue Seed Collection

Idaho Dept of Fish & Game Volunteer Project

Idaho Dept of Fish & Game and the Boise National Forest Service are looking for help this Friday for an Idaho Fescue grass seed collection project.  The seed will be used for future Forest Service habitat projects. The collection location is at about 5,000 feet in the Boise Mountains near Edna Creek and promises interesting scenery and cooler weather than in Boise.
