Sheep in the Foothills! no registration required
Date: Sat., May 13, 2017 Free Family Event - no pets please
Location: Foothills Learning Center - Shuttle from Fort Boise Community Center at 700 Robbins Rd, Boise*
Time: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm (shuttle running every half hour from 10am to noon) ​*the City of Boise is running the shuttle service. Due to safety concerns no children under 2 year of age can ride the shuttle. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Hosted by the Idaho Wool Growers Association, Rangeland Resource Commission and the City of Boise.
This event is for all ages and has a variety of games and activities, music, and a delicious lamb lunch.  Local artists and exhibitors presenting sheep related crafts for sale, including sheep pelts, wool crafts, photographs, sheep bath & body products, natural dyed yarn and other beautiful things. There will be an area for sheep dog demonstrations, watch border collies herd sheep, learn about their training and dedication to work, and a kids section where kids can learn about wool with hands on demonstrations, and scavenger hunts for the kids to learn about the sheep industry and the foothills. 

Sheep in the Foothills Parking Shuttle: 
PLEASE NOTE: Parking is very limited, so a shuttle from Fort Boise Community Center, 700 Robbins Rd, Boise, will be leaving every half hour from 10:00-12:00 and returning as needed when shuttles fill.* ​*Due to safety concerns no children under 2 year of age can ride the shuttle. Sorry for any inconvenience.
