                            Waterway's of Harris Ranch Lecture Thursday February 22, 2018 6 to 7:30 PM

            Expert hydrologist  Karl Gebhardt, P.E., P.H.,  lecture provides a comprehensive overview of the watershed around Harris Ranch with discussion of historical flood events and early attempts to reduce flood risk.

You'll learn how the Spring Creek, Warm Springs Creek, and the Boise River waterways design are developed to keep residents safe. Then you'll come to understand how habitat is created while reducing flood hazard. Know and appreciate the local story of the waterways surrounding the place you call home! 

Presented by:  Karl Gebhardt, P.E., P.H., Hydrologist/Environmental Engineer   working on the Boise River since the early 1980's and joined Harris Ranch in early 1990.  Karl  expertise is utilized as one of your  board members for the Harris Ranch Wildlife Mitigation Association.
