Fire in Idaho goes way back. As we see Idaho’s history in the fire record, what can we expect from a warming future? Kerrie Weppner shares her fascinating research about fire across the holocene (our current geological epoch) and what it means in the context of today’s climate.

Charlie Luce and colleagues have made groundbreaking discoveries about “missing mountain water” in the northern Rockies. How do changing temperatures over the Pacific lead to fewer inches of rain here in landlocked Idaho? Charlie presents these findings that were recently published in Science.
