The HRWMA recognizes that there will be unavoidable adverse impacts to wildlife and habitat associated with development within Barber Valley. Much of the open space is currently owned by private landowners and the State of Idaho. This requires the board to maintain good relationships with the landowners. The HRWMA goals are to avoid human interaction in sensitive areas, when possible, minimize activities that threaten habitat values, and restore habitat areas to incentivize wildlife to utilize the restored areas where possible and maintain access to the public to enjoy the diversity and beauty of Barber Valley. Mitigation efforts through the HRWMA include education of residents. We are currently looking for people who are interested in joining our current board. Board Member Qualifications While there are not a specific set of qualifications, the successful applicant may have a combination of skills that the board is looking for.
If you're interested in applying, please send your resume to Karie@hrwmawildlife.org |
