Idaho DEQ has just released a long-awaited plan to reduce excess nutrient pollution in the Boise River and tributaries. Boise River Campaign Coordinator Liz Paul will explain:
- the basics of the Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL)
- the problems caused by excess levels of phosphorus and,
- the strategies proposed to reduce the levels to meet beneficial use requirements.
