Take a journey inside the snow pack with a snow scientist! Explore the layers and crystals and understand how avalanches happen. Watch an avalanche simulation, and see the equipment used in avalanche safety and rescue! Learn how the Idaho Snow Survey monitors snow in the mountains and uses this information to predict stream flow throughout Idaho. We will have a snow scientist to teach about the layers of snow and avalanches.
