Get to know your backyard as The Foothills Learning Center and Idaho Conservation League team up to offer these short hiking “tours” of City owned foothills reserves. These eleven reserves are part of a growing and interconnected system that provides environmental, social, health, and economic benefits to Boise citizens. Maybe you are new to Boise or maybe you are a frequent trail user that wants to know more. Come hike with us and learn about these treasures!

Military Reserve
One of the largest reserves City of Boise holds, Military Reserve features 12 miles of trails on 734 acres. It includes an off leash dog park, wooded creeks, and an old military cemetery. In addition to excellent recreation, Military Reserve has a fascinating history!
