October: Birding on the Bethine and Litter Pick-Up

                     Birding on the Bethine and Litter Patrol 

   An early morning  Autumn activity:  Park at the Greenbelt parking area, SE of the Bown Crossing Library. Then Audubon leader will walk the Bethine Church Nature Trail going downriver, birding as we go,  picking up whatever litter along the way back. Birds abound in the pond river and riparian wooded habitat. Walk usually finished around noon. 

  Bring water, binoculars and a plastic grocery bag, in case trash is discovered, it’s usually minimal, No public restrooms are available.
