Dr. Paul Castrovillo of Idaho Department of Agriculture, knows Idaho's insects and wants to teach us all about the role they play in nature specific to pollinators! Pollinators include moths, butterflies, bees and tiny flies! The role of pollinators is critical  in the production of our food crops and garden plants. Home gardeners help their own garden’s health and productivity by encouraging pollinator presence. Harris Ranch Wildlife Mitigation Pollinator Project is new on the local front and is planting milkweed, flax, mallow, currants and buckwheat to help build a healthier habitat for pollinators and wildlife too! Join us for a learning hour and maybe you'll join the effort to secure habitat for these vital creatures.
