~Lean first hand from expert Barbara Ertter in the third of five series of hikes entitled “Treasures of the Boise Front”. Each one of the 5 hikes serves as an introduction to a selection of public trails with the best diversity of native wildflowers throughout the Boise Front. On the Polecat hike you may see "Aase's Onion" and the green pepperpod. While a few hikes are easy rambles, most walks include some “target” species or habitats that are a mile or more from the nearest trailhead. Expect a steady pace to reach these goals within the 2-3 hour timeframe. Please, No Dogs on hike.
NOTE DIRECTION & LOCATION: Polecat Loop: Meet at 6:00pm at the Polecat Gulch trailhead on Cartwright Rd, between Pierce Park Lane and Bogus Basin Rd
