Help plant Bitterbrush seedlings to restore foothills habitat for wildlife! Several summer fires burned winter range for deer, antelope and elk. Come join us as we plant our very own Bitterbrush seedling working towards restoration!
Several years back the volunteer core members of Harris Ranch collected thousands of Bitterbrush seeds. (See snapshot above) Since then those tiny seeds have grown at Lucky Peak Nursery and now are ready to be planted back as seedlings towards restoration of the foothills habitat for wildlife.
HRWMA ecologist, Mike Pellant, and Wildlife Management Area manager, Krista Born will co-lead the planting of 500 Bitterbrush seedlings. Volunteers limited to 20. So...please be sure to register!
