Help plant Bitterbrush seedlings to restore foothills habitat for wildlife! Eligible Homeowners can qualify full Mitigation Fee Refund as easy as 1,2,3! Planting time on March 26th from 1PM until 4 PM.
Several years back the volunteer members of Harris Ranch collected thousands of Bitterbrush seeds. (See snapshot ) Every year since then we grow the tiny seeds at Lucky Peak Nursery. This Saturday we are ready to plant seedlings working toward restoration of habitat for wildlife.
HRWMA ecologist, Mike Pellant, and Conservation Director Karie Pappani will co-lead the planting of 100 Bitterbrush seedlings. HRWMA Executive Director and other board members will be on hand to meet. Volunteer number limited to 25. So...please be sure to register!
