Winter Birds... That Don't Use Feeders~

While many migrating winter birds use feeders,  you'd be surprised to know that certain species don't rely on feeders or even fly into towns en route. Some of these species are highly prized by dedicated birders. Want to learn which birds  and where exactly are they? Join Terry Rich, Boise's veteran ornithologist, to gather information and useful tips on winter birds in the Boise area and beyond town. 

There is the added opportunity following the presentation, to learn even more with Terry Rich by taking a beginner-friendly birding walk around the Foothills Learning Center. Bird books and binoculars are available to borrow. Please wear weather appropriate clothing as the temperature can be brisk in the Boise mornings!
