W e will be exploring Kathryn Albertson Park on this birding outing. There is a variety of wildlife that can be found in the park, including a number of bird species. Birds likely seen on this trip are : Belted Kingfisher, Western-Screech Owl , various ducks, Cedar Waxwings, etc.
Walking paths may be uneven in spots, during this time of year it may be icy in patches . Please dress for the weather and wear good shoes. Dressing in layers is a great idea.
All levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available if needed.
Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.
Time: 9:00am - 11:00am
Meeting Place: Kathryn Albertson Park, at the main parking lot by the entrance.
What to Bring: Layers for weather, closed toe shoes, water, and binoculars. No dogs please.
