Boise River Riparian Planting Event
ALTA HARRIS CREEK: PLANT A TREE and MORE...to CELEBRATE ARBOR DAY!

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Alta Harris Creek at Eckert Road and Boise River
We will be planting 100 or so cottonwood trees grown in one-gallon pots and additional shrubs, plus small containers of grasses and other native plants in areas where we recently removed Russian olive trees. We will be providing tools and training needed for the day. You can bring your own tools if you choose to. Dress for spring weather and please wear sturdy shoes. (The river has flooded areas so irrigation boots may be handy if water has not subsided.) Bring your own water and snacks that you would like to have for the day. Parking will be at Barber Park on south side of the river and west of Eckert Road. See map below.
