Join the Golden Eagle Audubon's Wednesday Birders as we check out the Fall birds at Barber Park. We will walk over to the river to see what winter river ducks have appeared and then walk paths around and back to the parking area. If an unusual bird shows up, such as a barred owl, we will focus on trying to find that bird first.
Paths are a mix of paved and unpaved but generally flat. The observation site on the river could be slippery if there is frost or cold conditions in the morning.
All levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available if needed.
Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.
Time: 8am - 10am
Meeting Place: The parking lot of Barber Park, near the restrooms.
What to bring: Bring layers for weather, closed toe shoes, your binoculars and some water.
Restroom Availability: Restrooms will be available at the park.
