To secure a place at this event, registration is required. Please make sure ALL fields are filled out on the registration form and a confirmation email is received.
Join us as we explore the migratory shorebirds, ducks, songbirds and raptors at Blacks Creek Bird Preserve. We should be able to see a wide range of birds, including shore birds, waterfowl, herons, egrets and more. We may walk off trail, so hiking boots are recommended. Please note there will be no shade and we may encounter some mud.
All levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available if needed.
Participants must be 16 or older to participate. Participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.
Time: 8:30am - 11:30am
Meeting Place: Blacks Creek Bird Reserve at the main parking area by toilet
What to bring: Layers for weather, closed-toe shoes and binoculars. No dogs please.
Restroom Availability: Restrooms will be available at the parking lot.
