Join Idaho Rivers United, 94.9 The River, and Idaho River Sports for our Annual End of Float Season Cleanup!
WHEN: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14 @ 10:00 am (Check-in @ 9:30)
WHERE: 601 N Whitewater Park Blvd, Boise, ID 83702
The Boise River is a true gem of the Treasure Valley; it's a 102-mile river with headwaters that extend from the Boise National Forest and flow into the confluence of the Snake River. It consists of a 29-mile paved greenbelt path that is a common transportation route in the Treasure Valley and it supplies endless opportunities for outdoor fun: providing opportunities to play fetch with your dog friends, bird watch, fish for rainbow and brown trout, relax along its riverbanks, and the all-time summer favorite activity -- floating a 6-mile section of the river that extends from Barber Park to Ann Morrison park. Last year, Boise Parks and Recreation reported that 130,000 people enjoyed a refreshing float.
This event isn't just a cleanup—it's a party! After all the hard work, stick around for a community celebration and after party hosted by 94.9 The River and Idaho River Sports. We'll have vendors, delicious food trucks, refreshing shaved ice, lively music, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and trash themed games.
