Riparian Improvement Volunteer Day at Marianne Williams Park

WHEN: Sat, Oct 4 at 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

WHERE: Marianne Williams Park, Boise, Idaho

WHAT: Volunteers needed to help pull invasive plants! Join us for this fall project at Marianne Williams Park (MAW) riparian site.  We'll meet at the MAW parking lot, 3451 E Barber Valley Dr, Boise, ID 83706, off E. Warm Springs Ave. Please bring some water and wear long pants. If you want, bring your own clippers and a shovel.

We will be pulling and cutting invasive rose and false indigo plants to allow more native riparian growth. It will be a poky but satisfying day! Wear your thickest gloves and long layers. Check the weather for that morning and dress appropriately. We will hold this event unless the weather is really terrible.

TU Coordinator Andy B. will plan to meet you in the parking lot at 10 am with necessary tools; plan to work until approx. 1 pm. Email boisetrout@aol.com with any questions.
