WHAT: Wednesday Birders: Kathryn Albertson Park

WHEN: January 28, 2026 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm

MEETING PLACE: Kathryn Albertson Park central entrance, at the parking lot.

Join Golden Eagle Audubon and the Wednesday Birders at Kathryn Albertson Park for an easy-paced afternoon stroll. We'll be taking time to appreciate the winter landscape and observe various bird behaviors throughout our walk.

Kathryn Albertson Park is a 41-acre special use park located near downtown Boise, and is part of the Idaho Birding Trail. A haven for wildlife and quiet contemplation, the park features wide, paved paths and outdoor gazebos in a beautiful natural setting. The most prevalent winter birds here are ducks, geese, chickadees, kingfishers, and herons.

Please Note: Pathways are paved and wheelchair accessible. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate shoes. 

All experience levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available if needed.Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.

NOTE: The birding experience requires Two Levels of Pre-Registration for all participants.
