Ada Soil and Water Conservation District Presents:Ecological Horticulture: Building Biodiversity for Resiliency
WHAT: Biodiversity can act like an immune system for landscapes and gardens, making them more resilient to pests, diseases, changes in climate, and more. But how does that work, exactly? In this engaging presentation you'll learn science-backed methods to bring in beneficial insects and other organisms with plants that thrive in Idaho landscapes. You'll come away with applied land stewardship tools that cultivate a rich habitat for pollinator and natural enemies of pests and experience your garden through the eyes of these important critters.
