Idaho FireWISE presents Community Conversations: Fire in the Foothills

Join us for Community Conversations, a special educational gathering focused on an issue affecting us all: protecting our homes and communities from wildfire.

Learn from local, state, and federal partners about foothills fire prevention, mitigation, and aftermath. Hear from range animal and soil experts, land managers and local enforcement. Community members will also have the opportunity to tour the Idaho Firewise Garden and connect with rangeland, fire, and horticulture experts to learn practical ways to create more fire-resilient landscapes.

Discover, ask questions, and learn steps you can take to help protect your home and community. No host bar and light snacks provided.

OR behind the Old Idaho Penitentiary near the historic barns and garden greenhouses. Volunteers will be on hand to direct you to the Idaho Firewise Garden!
