Treasure Valley is a safe haven for many different species of ducks which spend the winter months here, making wintertime an excellent opportunity to watch and learn about new species of birds.
Louisa Evers of Golden Eagle Audubon Society, teaches a video class and share tips and strategies for finding birds at various locations throughout the Treasure Valley and identifying them by sight and sound.
There is an additional bird walk that follows on November 9th that is available to those members interested in experiential learning in the field.
